I like to start out my consultations by asking my client how THEY picture their special event. What kind of food do they like? What colors do they imagine being incorporated? What theme are they trying to portray? Anyone can have the “Youngstown Buffet”, but what makes your event special is allowing it to be a reflection of you! It’s our job as your caterer to come up with a menu your excited about, while staying within your budget. Here are some easy ways to customize your event without breaking the bank!
1.)CAKE IS BORIIIINGGGG!
Spice up your dessert! Go with some dessert shooters, or mini pies and tarts! Love ice cream? Let your guests make their own sundaes! Or really “WOW” them with a Live Gourmet S’more Bar!
2.)CHEERS!
Having an event in the winter season? Surprise your guests with a hot cup of love! Design the station to feature all of your favorite fix-ins. Flavored creamers, syrups, coffee, teas, hot chocolate, chocolate shavings, whipped cream, the list goes on and on! Who doesn’t love a warm cozy drink on a cold day. Orrrrrr if you’re hosting an event in the warmer months try a Sangria Bar or, Infused Lemonade and Iced Tea!
3.)HAVE A SEAT!
Industry trends are shifting away from “traditional” when it comes to seating. Gone are the days when your options were limited to a long head table for a wedding bridal party , and all round tables for guests. We love the idea of a big kings table, square tables, or mixing rounds and longs!
4.)IT PAYS TO BE DIFFERENT
There is nothing we love to hear more as a caterer than “I really want to do something different.” You will see our faces instantly glow! WE LOVE DIFFERENT! Why do buttered parsley potatoes, when you can impress with a mashed potato bar?! There are so many inexpensive ways to make your menu unique to you! Let your caterer do the brainstorming! We love it!
5.)I CAN EAT THE CENTERPIECE?
Flowers and candles make for a timeless and gorgeous centerpiece there’s no debating that. BUT, why not kill two birds with one stone? A beautifully plated Antipasti Platter or Fruit display makes for a stunning centerpiece that guests can enjoy all evening.
